About our massages
One of the immediate benefits of a massage is a feeling of deep relaxation and calm. This occurs because massage prompts the release of endorphins – the brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that produce feelings of well-being. Levels of stress hormones, such as adrenaline, cortisol and norepinephrine are also reduced as a result of massage.
Combining a range of techniques and strokes, our aim is to provide the best mobile massage London has to offer.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is usually focused on specific muscle groups with firm to very deep pressure into muscle. The focus is the muscles of the body using similar therapy and involves soft tissue release, Effleurage, kneading and friction.
Deep tissue is usually a combination of different strokes of other therapy.
Swedish massage is a relaxing massage with firm to minimal pressure. It involves soft tissue release, Effleurage, kneading, friction, cupping and tapping. This type of massage forms the basis for most types of massages.
Shiatsu is a massage with slow downwards pressure on the muscle tissue. Pressure points are used with finger pressure and Effleurage strokes. Palms, rocking and shaking are also used to manipulate areas of the body.
This massage can be used through clothing, but most massaged can be a dry form of massage according to the client’s needs.
Sports massage is usually focused on athletes that regularly push their bodies beyond normal physical exertion. Sports massage involves soft tissue release, Effleurage, kneading and friction.
Sports massage is rather evasive and involves extreme stretching called PNF designed to increase flexibility and mobility. Sports massage may also involve osteopathic articulation – a gentle mobilisation of the joints.
Please also remember that pain is an indicator of something that is wrong. Extreme pain is an indicator that the muscle needs rest and recovery. After a sports massage you may feel sore but without the annoying tension.
